This Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms under which SettleQuik LLC ("SettleQuik," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Oklahoma, with its principal place of business at 9905 S Pennsylvania Ave Ste A, Oklahoma City, OK 73159, provides refunds for paid subscriptions to the SettleQuik services (the "Services"), accessible via settlequik.com (the "Site"). This Policy applies exclusively to the Pro Plan ($10 per month) and Business Plan ($20 per month) subscriptions and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions available at settlequik.com/terms.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you ("Subscriber," "you," or "your") acknowledge and agree to this Policy. We are committed to your satisfaction and offer a limited money-back guarantee as detailed herein. Refunds are not available for the Free Plan, as it incurs no charges. All refunds are processed through our third-party payment provider, Stripe, and are subject to applicable laws and Stripe's policies.

Article 1: 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

1.1 Eligibility: We provide a 30-day money-back guarantee on initial purchases and upgrades to the Pro Plan or Business Plan. If you are dissatisfied with the Services for any reason, you may request a full refund of the subscription fee paid within thirty (30) days of the initial purchase date ("Guarantee Period").

1.2 Scope of Coverage: The guarantee covers:

  • Full refund of the subscription fee for the applicable plan (Pro Plan: $10 USD; Business Plan: $20 USD).
  • No questions asked; subjective dissatisfaction is sufficient.
  • First-time purchases and upgrades from lower-tier plans.
  • Monthly subscriptions only; annual subscriptions, if offered in the future, are subject to Section 3 below.

1.3 Exclusions: The guarantee does not apply to add-on purchases, promotional credits, or fees incurred after the Guarantee Period.

Article 2: Refund Request Procedure

2.1 Submission: To request a refund, submit a written request via email to support@settlequik.com with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Account Email Address]." Include your account email, subscription details, and optional reason for the request.

2.2 Review and Approval: We will review eligible requests promptly. Refunds are processed at our discretion, subject to verification of eligibility under this Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

2.3 Processing Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within five (5) to seven (7) business days of receipt. You will receive email confirmation upon initiation.

Article 3: Refund Processing and Method

3.1 Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the subscription (e.g., credit card, debit card) via Stripe. We do not issue refunds via alternative methods such as cash, checks, or store credit unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 Post-Refund Account Status: Upon refund processing:

  • Your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free Plan.
  • You retain access to Free Plan features until the end of the current billing cycle, if applicable.
  • All User Content and data associated with your account remains intact; we do not delete your account.
  • You may upgrade to a paid plan at any time without prejudice.

3.3 Currency and Taxes: Refunds are issued in the original currency (USD) and exclude any taxes already remitted by us. You are responsible for any bank fees or currency conversion charges.

Article 4: Subscriptions and Refund Applicability

4.1 Monthly Subscriptions: For recurring monthly subscriptions:

  • Full refunds are available only within the Guarantee Period.
  • No pro-rated refunds are provided for partial months outside the Guarantee Period.
  • Subscriptions continue until the end of the current billing period upon cancellation, with no further charges.

4.2 Annual Subscriptions (If Applicable): If annual plans are introduced:

  • Full refunds apply within the Guarantee Period.
  • Pro-rated refunds may be available after the Guarantee Period at our sole discretion.

Article 5: Exceptions and Ineligibility

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

5.1 Post-Guarantee Period: Requests submitted more than thirty (30) days after purchase are ineligible. You may cancel to avoid future charges but receive no refund for the current period.

5.2 Account Violations: Accounts terminated or suspended for violations of our Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, fraudulent activity, or illegal use are ineligible.

5.3 Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback with your financial institution forfeits your right to a refund through our process and may result in immediate account suspension or termination. We encourage direct resolution via support.

5.4 Free Plan: As the Free Plan incurs no fees, refunds do not apply. You may close your Free Plan account at any time.

Article 6: Subscription Cancellation

6.1 Cancellation Procedure: You may cancel your subscription at any time without a refund (except as provided in Article 1):

  1. Log in to your SettleQuik account on the Site.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Billing.
  3. Select "Cancel Subscription."
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

6.2 Effects of Cancellation:

  • Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • No further charges will be assessed.
  • Your account automatically downgrades to the Free Plan thereafter.
  • All data remains intact.

6.3 Distinction from Refunds: Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current period (except within the Guarantee Period). Refunds return fees already paid, subject to eligibility.

Article 7: Disputed Charges

7.1 Investigation Process: If you dispute a charge:

  1. Review your purchase confirmation email and account billing history.
  2. Contact support@settlequik.com before initiating a chargeback.
  3. We will investigate and resolve eligible disputes within our standard response times (Business Plan: 12 hours; Pro Plan: 24 hours; Free Plan: 48 hours).

7.2 Chargeback Consequences: Chargebacks may delay resolution, incur fees, and lead to account suspension. Direct contact is preferred for efficient resolution.

Article 8: Refunds for Technical Issues

8.1 Resolution Commitment: If technical issues materially prevent use of the Services:

  • Notify support@settlequik.com immediately.
  • We will endeavor to resolve within 12 hours (Business Plan) or 24 hours (Pro Plan).
  • If unresolved, we may issue a full refund or account credit at our discretion.

8.2 Scope: This provision applies only to verifiable issues attributable to the Services, not user error or third-party factors.

Article 9: Promotional Offers and Discounts

9.1 Refund Calculation: Refunds for discounted or promotional subscriptions are based on the amount actually paid, not the list price.

9.2 Non-Refundable Elements: Promotional credits, discounts, or coupons are non-refundable. Discount codes cannot be reused following a refund.

Article 10: Multiple Refund Requests and Abuse Prevention

10.1 Limitation: To prevent abuse, each Subscriber is limited to one refund per 12-month period across all plans.

10.2 Denial Authority: Multiple or patterned requests may be denied at our discretion, potentially resulting in account termination.

12.2 Acceptance: Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. Prior refund requests are governed by the Policy in effect at the time of submission.

Article 13: Fair Use and Discretion

13.1 Purpose: This Policy balances fairness to Subscribers and SettleQuik. We reserve the right to:

  • Deny refunds appearing fraudulent or abusive.
  • Request additional verification before processing.
  • Modify the Policy with reasonable notice.

Article 14: Governing Law and Disputes

14.1 Governing Law: This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

14.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the arbitration provisions of our Terms and Conditions (Article 16 therein). You agree to submit such disputes exclusively to binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
