Phone alerts
SettleQuik can alert your phone or computer when a payment method on your account changes, when a payment link no longer opens, and when someone tells you through your page or an invoice that they've paid. Alerts never show amounts.
1. Turn them on.
Sign in with Keep me signed in ticked, open Settings → Notifications, and choose Turn on notifications. Your browser will ask you to allow them. Send a test to check that one arrives.
2. Why “Keep me signed in”.
Alerts belong to the sign-in that turned them on. Without the box ticked, a sign-in ends when you close the browser or after 30 minutes away, so alerts would stop almost at once. With it ticked, a sign-in lasts up to 30 days. When it ends, or you sign out, alerts on that device stop. Sign in again and turn them back on.
3. iPhone and iPad.
Alerts need iOS 16.4 or later, and they come through the SettleQuik app on your Home Screen, not the browser. Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow, at the bottom of Safari). Choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. Open SettleQuik from your Home Screen, sign in, and turn notifications on in Settings → Notifications.
4. Chrome on Android.
Chrome sometimes hides alerts it isn't sure about behind a “Possible spam” warning. Chrome decides this on your phone, and we can't change it. To keep getting SettleQuik alerts, tap Show notification, then Always show, then Mark as safe to Chrome.
5. Turn them off.
Choose Turn off here in Settings → Notifications, or block notifications for settlequik.com in your browser settings. The same card lists the other devices that get alerts.
